The Bronica Tele-Converter PS 1.4x is a teleconverter designed for Zenzanon-S and PS lenses within the Bronica SQ series of medium format cameras. This teleconverter the focal length of lenses attached to it by a factor of 1.4x, making it quite handy for increasing your telephoto capabilities without the expense of buying longer lenses or the weight of carrying them. This teleconverter reduces the speed of such lenses by one f-stop. As an example, the Bronica 135mm f4 Zenzanon-PS becomes a 189mm f5.6 lens.
This teleconverter was designed for all Zenzanon-S and PS lenses between 80mm to 500mm. It can be used with the 40mm and 50mm Zenzanon-S, the 40mm and 65mm Zenzanon-PS and the Variogon Zoom PS lenses but it is not recommended for these focal lengths.
